Heroes of Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
Music is about FREEDOM, music is also about love, friendship, sharing, caring, it's about GIVING
Music sets people FREE, that is what attracts people to music, Artists that are GREAT have been through very difficult times, they were refined into something better, and they survived,
The best music that I've ever heard is from Africa or Jamaica, trust me, the people of Jamaica were freed from slavery in 1838, and they know what it is to "JAM" in Jamaica, They know the difference between being captive and being free, Music is about bringing people TOGETHER, Unfortunately music has become a product in mainstream culture, instead of a form of expression, and no matter what I respect and love ALL musicians, and encourage them to be themselves, and to just have fun!
Modern Radical Audio Visual Experience or Rave Culture is rooted in the Rastafari movement including Ethiopia and then Jamaica and then the career of Bob Marley
I know Bob Marley, even though I've never met him, you can still know somebody through their music
Robert Nesta Marley February 6, 1945 – May 11, 1981 was a Jamaican singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He is the most widely known performer of reggae music, and is famous for popularising the genre outside Jamaica. A faithful Rastafari, Marley is regarded by many as a prophet of the religion.
Marley is best known for his ska, rocksteady, and reggae songs, which include the hits "I Shot the Sheriff", "No Woman, No Cry", "Three Little Birds", "Exodus", "Could You Be Loved", "Jammin", "Redemption Song", and "One Love". His posthumous compilation album Legend (1984) is the best-selling reggae album ever, with sales of more than 12 million copies,
If Bob Marley were alive today, he would probably be on the turn-tables or a Mac, making loving sounds, and drowning in Joy,
MY LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.....HE'S MY BEST FRIEND! Genesis 1:11 "And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so." Genesis 3:18 "... thou shalt eat the herb of the field." Proverbs 15:17 "Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith."[1] Psalms 104:14 "He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man."
